Final week for abstracts!

Papers, workshops and symposia for the 12th UK Joint Social Work Education Conference and 4th UK Social Work Research Conference should be submitted by 11 February 2010. For more details visit the JSWEC website.

Substance use: FREE event

women with bruise on facee Integrating substance use into social work (14 April 2010) aims to help social work academics to consider a range of ways to include teaching on alcohol and drugs in Q and PQ programmes. There will be guest speakers presenting findings from recent research with social workers as well as launch the new materials produced by SWAP to guide and support social work educators.
