Details
Using the technology-rich learning spaces of the Centre for Excellence in interdisciplinary mental health SWAP wanted to encourage:
HEI teams to come and engage in an active learning experience to support the development of a strategy/artefact/resource/plan - for extending the effective use of technology in teaching and learning activities in their programme/dept/school etc.
Individuals were welcome to sign up and teams were created with those individuals attending.
Teams included teaching staff, learning technologists, educational developers, students, administrative and support staff,service user educators.

The format for these workshops varied with presenters either attending the event in person, or showcasing their online capabilities from a remote location via the internet

Phil Haynes; Deputy Head of the School of Applied Social Science, University of Brighton
Phil has extensive experience in developing e-learning and specialises in making digital education movies.
Alan Howe; Senior lecturer in Social Work at the University of Gloucestershire
Alan has a background in psychology, counselling, social work study supervision, training and consultancy.
Tarsem Singh-Cooner; Associate Director, The Centre of Excellence in Interdisciplinary Mental Health, Uni of Birmingham
Tarsem, a qualified senior social work practioner, manages the production, design and development of the Centre’s e-Learning materials and systems.
Simon Ball; Senior Advisor, TechDis - The Higher Education Academy York Science Park
Simon leads the work of TechDis in higher education and has produced materials on E-assessement.
Phil Wane; Senior Lecturer, Nottingham Trent University
Phil has extensive experience of delivering a wide range of undergraduate teaching, but his primary interest is now focussed on the impact of technology on society.
