Introduction
In this section you will find information about the overall policy and regulatory context both for higher education and for social policy courses and social work programmes in the UK. Since there is no significant variation across the UK in terms of the regulation of teaching and learning for social policy, this is only listed in the ‘UK-wide’ pages. However, since the regulation of social work differs, there is a section on this for each of the four jurisdictions, in addition to an introduction in the UK pages.
