E-supported Learning and Teaching Enhancement (ELTE) Project

The Joint Information Systems Committee (JISC) and the Social Care Institute for Excellence (SCIE) funded SWAP to undertake a two-year e-learning development and dissemination project for technology supported learning and teaching in social policy and social work.

The aims of the project were:

  • to increase knowledge and awareness of e-learning tools and resources and how they may support teaching and learning activities
  • to improve take up of existing repository content and online resources by educators in social policy and social work
  • to promote and develop a culture of content-sharing by social policy and social work academics in Higher Education and to seek to identify the specific interests in and barriers to content sharing.
  • to extend collaborative work by subject academics in e-learning.

Key outputs can be downloaded from the e-learning page  together with event reports.
