Description
This project will conduct an overview of the teaching and assessment of cultural competence in social work programs in England. This will complement a separate and larger,international, comparative project which aims to develop a transferable framework for fostering cultural competence in social work.. A transferable framework is one that might be used across different local and national contexts, recognising both points of similarity and difference in cultural contexts. Specifically, the project will deliver an audit of how cultural competence is taught and assessed as well as contributing to the development of a web-based dissemination platform.
